Shipping Rates

Note: We are working on converting our website from a price-based shipping module to one based on weight. This might take a few months to implement and perfect; however, we just could not wait to share this change with you!

During this transition we will evaluate the shipping totals on each and every package prior to leaving our warehouse. We will reduce any excessive UPS or USPS shipping costs and pass on those savings to you!

Here's how to take advantage of this:

• Place your order as you would normally. We will verify the actual shipping cost from the carrier and reduce any excessive charges before collecting payment from your credit card.
• You can select "motor freight -- follow-up quote" shipping option and add a note to the comments section that you would like us to "charge and ship via the cheapest method", and we will do just that.
• You may also request a shipping quote prior to placing an order by emailing Customer Service .

Additional Note: Our discount prices are already so low that we cannot also offer free shipping. If your shipping cost is listed as $0.00 or FREE, please note that a customer service representative will contact you with a correct shipping quote. Upon your approval, this amount will be added to your order cost.

The order dollar amount is used to calculate shipping charges. If items in your order do not exceed carrier standards, your shipping cost will be taken from these charts.

If your order exceeds any shipping standards, such as weight, dimensions or number of parcels, the carrier will assess surcharges.

For example, UPS imposes a $10.50 fee on any order that exceeds 30 inches in length, width or depth. USPS also assesses a surcharge on any package greater than 12 inches on any dimension. If you order Acme or threaded rod, the UPS surcharges for dimensions will apply per package. If your order requires multiple boxes, there will be extra charges

If your order does exceed any carrier standards, a customer service representative will contact you with an exact shipping quote. The shipper, not Wholesale Tool, controls and sets charges for exceptions.

Our primary flat rate carrier is United Parcel Service (UPS), but we might choose another service to ensure a proper delivery time. If you specifically want to use UPS or the United States Postal Service (USPS), please indicate this in the comments box at checkout.

We will ship your order from one of the following warehouses that has stock (shipping rate will not change): Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, Oklahoma or California.

Shipping Times

USPS & International Mail

Receive order in 2 to 14 business days, depending on location, via U.S. Postal Service or international mail service.

UPS Ground

Receive your order in 3 to 5 business days. Order by noon Eastern Time for same day shipping. Same day shipping not guaranteed.

UPS Next Day

Order by noon Eastern Time and receive your order the next business day.

UPS 2-Day

Order by noon Eastern Time and receive your order in 2 business days.

UPS 3-Day

Order by noon Eastern Time and receive your order in 3 business days.

Surcharge Conditions

• Order over 8 pounds shipped UPS Next Day, 2-Day or 3-Day.
• Order over 20 pounds shipped UPS Ground.
• Order exceeding 84 inches in length or girth shipped UPS Ground, Next Day, 2-Day or 3-Day. UPS classifies this as an "oversized package."
• Order shipped UPS Ground, Next Day, 2-Day or 3-Day that cannot be packaged in cardboard, is a chemical product, or whose length exceeds 60 inches.
• Order shipped UPS that exceeds 30 inches on any dimension ($10.50 surcharge).
• Order shipped USPS that exceeds 12 inches on any dimension will be assessed a surcharge.
• Order with Acme or threaded rod ($10.50 surcharge per package, not per piece).
• Order shipped internationally via U.S. Postal Service is quoted actual shipping, not flat rate. Amount does not include carrier's duty, border or brokerage fees. These additional charges will be collected from you at time of delivery.

Order Processing Time

All orders received by noon Eastern Time should be processed and shipped on the same day. Same day shipping also is dependent on product availability and is not a guaranteed service. However, Next Day Air orders are given a higher processing priority to help ensure they are shipped the same day.

Please note that all shipping times listed refer to carrier times and do not include Wholesale Tool's processing and handling time.

Customer Shipping Accounts

We accept customer shipping accounts for UPS and motor freight carriers. Charges are not done in real time, and they will be passed on to the customer account. You may request a follow-up email with a shipping quote before your order is processed.

If an invalid account number is provided, the carrier will assess a $10 penalty on Wholesale Tool. This charge will be passed on to the customer.

Motor Freight Commercial/Residential

Outside Continental U.S. or Canada

A follow-up email with a shipping quote is required before order is processed. It is our duty to ship your order with the lowest cost and the most reliable method. Contact customer service at 1-800-521-3420 with any questions.

Shipping Insurance

All packages are insured to their total value amount. Orders that qualify for flat rate shipping will not have any additional insurance charges. Orders that do not qualify for flat rate shipping will be charged the additional UPS rate of 35 cents per $100 to the total value amount. Hazardous Materials & Most Chemical Products

Products in these categories must be shipped ground service only (UPS or freight). Flat rate cannot be used. All shipping services require special packaging and additional shipping charges due to the nature of these products. Contact customer service at 1-800-521-3420 with any questions.
