3/8" Wide (17' 6") Welded Bi-metal Matrix II Bandsaw Blades - Morse

General purpose production blades are ideal for cutting materials with easy to moderate machinability. They efficiently handle solids, shapes, tubing and structural materials, as well as bundled and stacked pieces. Highly versatile blades also are ideal for intermittent use in maintenance shops where a variety of materials are cut daily. They cut alloy (annealed or heat treated), tool, stainless, and air hardening die steels. Bimetal blades have Matrix II high speed steel cutting edges, electron beam welded to alloy steel backers. Edges are hardened to Rc 66-68 to prevent tooth damage and to increase wear resistance. Backer is fatigue resistant alloy steel. The combination results in longer blade life, fewer blade changes and higher production rates. Notes on ordering: Blades are welded to length. In checkout, please indicate in the Comments box exact length required and teeth per inch. For blades a fraction over the foot in length, figure as the next half foot. Standard raker set blade will be shipped unless otherwise specified. Other types available are wavy set, variable pitch, variable pitch/positive rake and hook tooth. Blades are special order and are nonreturnable (unless defective), so please verify size!
