Loctite 242 Removable Thread Locker

Description

A removable strength general purpose threadlocking adhesive especially well-suited for fasteners between 1/4 and 3/4 in. dia. (6 to 20mm). Applied to threaded components before assembly Blue 242® has controlled lubricity for accurate clamp loads. Parts can be separated using hand tools. Break/Prevail Torque: 115/53. Temp range: -65°F to 300°F. Cure speed (steel @ 25°C): fixture - 10 minutes (3 min. w/primer); full strength - 24 hours. Recommended primer: 7649 Locquic® Primer N.
