| With conventional grip pliers, the jaw opening has to be adjusted for different tasks. This results in uncontrolled clamping pressures and time consuming manual operations, and the jaws do not remain parallel with each other.
Bessey SuperGrips solve these problems by combining the adjustability of the sliding jaw of screw clamps with a conventional grip pliers design.
The jaws of SuperGrip pliers remain parallel or at the proper angle to each other in any position. The preset clamping pressure remains the same, regardless of the distance between the jaws.
Other features:
- Serrated, non-slip hardened profile shaped for universal use
- Infinitely adjustable jaw made of hardened chrome-vanadium steel
- Rail made of cold drawn profiled steel from Bessey's own drawing mill, optimized for high static stress loadings
- Screw with lock nut for clamping pressure adjustment; clamp tapered parts up to 7 degrees
- Convenient, plastic coated release lever ergonomically designed and free of kickback
