| M42 8 percent cobalt titanium aluminum nitride end mills. These mills are recommended for high production milling in difficult to machine materials. They are extremely hard and wear resistant. The end mills require an increase of 75 to 100 percent machine speed over that of high speed steel.
They are used for aggressive machining of aircraft and aerospace materials, stainless steels, high alloy carbon steels, nickel based high temperature alloys and titanium alloys. Mills are also used in dry machining of cast irons, nodular iron and selected carbon steel. |
