Key to grades:
- VC121 -- Uncoated carbide. V-cut cut-off, plus grooving. Use on cast iron, aluminum, nonferrous alloys, exotics. Medium cutting speeds and feeds.
- VC902 -- PVD (physical vapor deposition) coated. Turning, boring, milling and threading. Use on gray cast iron, nickel based alloys, titanium alloys, wrought and cast aluminum. Requires a very rigid setup for optimum performance.
