| High speed steel, 1/2-inch shank, 1/4-inch pilot. These hole cutters are recommended for use in hand-held air or electric drill motors, as well as light drill press applications in sheet metal, thin wall tubing, steel plate or any other larger diameter shallow hole cutting.
This tool centers quickly and is held securely in position after the pilot drill has entered the workpiece. The cutter body then cuts a clean, burr-free hole faster than conventional twist drills or hole saws. With normal care, tool life is significantly longer than other hole cutting tools. Inexpensive re-sharpening will allow repeated use. |
