| This 18-gage set is an indispensable, time saving tool for the inspector, toolmaker, machinist, layout person or draftsman. Gages each have eight surfaces for measurement and precision finished edges for more accurate checking.
Each gage checks primary, one-half primary and complementary angles. Sharp cornered workpieces can be checked at all eight angles except below 50 degrees on primary angle 2.
Gage set capacity is primary angle, 5 to 90 degrees (no angle 2 on 5 to 15 degrees); 1/2 primary angle, 2 degrees, 30 minutes to 45 degrees; and complementary angle, 175 to 90 degrees.
Make quick, accurate inspection of angles and inside or outside diameter chamfers, in or out of the machine. Other uses are positioning of lathe tools for chamfers; inspecting angles on ground form tools and cutters; fast setups; and fixture of workpiece.
