| This Starrett taper gage is a very useful tool, especially for bearing work and for gaging slots. The gage is made of quality tool steel and is 7/16 inch wide by 6-1/4 inches long. It is accurately tapered throughout its entire length for quick, convenient measuring of slot widths and other openings.
This tool also can be used as a precision shim. One side is graduated from .010 to .150 inch in thousandths of an inch. The reverse is graduated from 0.3 to 4 millimeters in 1/20ths of mm. ISO certified. |
