The Milwaukee 0724 cordless 28-volt 1/2-inch hammer drill uses the Milwaukee-built high power motor to develop an enormous 600 inch-pounds maximum torque and 0-600/0-1,800 rpm, ideal for drilling larger holes and driving larger screws faster.

Powering the 0724 is the revolutionary 28-volt lithium-ion battery pack exclusively from Milwaukee. The battery pack weighs less than an 18-volt one yet delivers two times the runtime, making this the ideal solution for all drilling and driving needs. Only the Milwaukee battery can be inserted in the reverse position, which allows for the ultimate balance when working overhead or in hard to reach areas.

The 0724 comes standard with a 1/2-inch all-metal, single-sleeve, ratcheting chuck with all carbide jaws that keeps bits from falling out or slipping. This is the industry's tightest gripping chuck and comes standard only on the 0724.

A comfortable non-slip, soft-grip handle reduces vibration and fatigue. The 0724 also comes standard with the patented Clip-Lok™ System. This system attaches securely to the operator's belt or tool bags and easily releases with one hand, ideal for when working from a ladder, or when there is nowhere to place the tool when adjusting or positioning a workpiece. This system keeps the drill within arm's length at all times. The Clip-Lok also features an onboard bit holder, which holds up to two standard Phillips bits.
