| Starrett welded flexible back blades are made from carbon steel and are recommended for general purpose cutting. They provide an attractive cost and are intended for easy-to-machine nonferrous metal.
These blades haves an excellent fatigue factor to give long life on machines running at a high surface feet per minute (SFPM), cutting nonferrous metal and wood (not recommended above 10,000 SFM). The flexible feature is also suitable for absorbing contour cutting stresses.
Applications include light-duty vertical and horizontal machines; low alloy, nonferrous metal; furniture and composition board; plastics of numerous types; and nonferrous foundry materials. |
